These impressive objects must have adorned a monumental public fountain house, probably in one of the more important Cypriot - a native or inhabitant of Cyprus(an island republic in the Mediterranean cities. The heads are attached to a bronze tube, encased in lead, of about 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) in length.
